TEMPERATURE IS TOO HIGH **°C
The temperature of the locaon where the machine is installed has risen above the ambient temperature at
which the machine can operate
Operaon cannot be connued. Turn o the sub power. The displayed temperature is the current ambient temper-
ature of the installaon locaon. Bring the installed locaon to a temperature at which operaon is possible (20 to
32°C or 68 to 90°F) and allow the machine to come to room temperature, and then turn on the power.

Output was stopped because a problem was found in the data received
Operaon cannot be connued. Check whether or not there is an error in the data. Check for a problem with the
connector cable or the computer, and redo the operaon from seng up the object to be printed on.
INK SHELF LIFE EXPIRE 123456
One of the ink cartridges is expired.
The numbers of the cartridges whose ink has exceeded its shelf life ash. Aer pressing [ENTER], replace the car-
tridge indicated by the ashing number.
This message is displayed when the sub power is turned on for the rst me aer the ink has expired. A buzzer
sounds at the same me the message is displayed.
You can sll connue to use the printer without replacing the ink cartridge. However, connuing to use an ink
cartridge that has exceeded its shelf life may lead to the following problems and malfuncon.
Ink leaks from the ink cartridge.
The ink viscosity increases, leading to ink discharge issues (which may result in decreased output quality).
The ink hardens, leading to printer malfuncons.
We recommend that you replace any expired ink cartridges. For informaon about purchasing ink cartridges, con-
tact your authorized Roland DG Corporaon dealer or visit our website (hp://www.rolanddg.com/).
WRONG CARTRIDGE
A cartridge that cannot be used was installed.
Remove the ink cartridge to clear the error. Use an ink cartridge of the specied type.
WRONG HEAD IS INSTALLED
An unusable print head has been installed.
Turn o the sub power. Aer turning the power o, contact your authorized Roland DG Corporaon dealer.
AVOIDING DRY-UP TURN POWER OFF
The print heads were forced to standby posion to prevent them from drying out
Operaon cannot be connued. Switch the sub power o, and then back on. Opening the front cover while print-
ing is in progress causes an emergency stop. Never allow the print heads to remain in this state.
