INSTALLATION
Caution! The standard cable routing for the direct drive should be laid on the edge of
the pool with a distribution box; this should be accessible at all times. The length of the
conduit between the drive and distribution box should be max. 3.5 m.
The supply cable between the controller and distribution box must correspond to the
characteristics specified in Rollo Solars supply table. We recommend using the original
extension cable, article no. 6100-0023.
Caution! If installations do not correspond to these installation guidelines, additional
costs may be incurred in the event of a motor replacement.
Caution! The installation of the system must be performed by a qualified specialist in
accordance with the associated drawings and installation instructions.
Please ensure that only special tools (VA stainless steel) are used during all work on any
components.
Caution electrical work!
Please observe the following with respect to all electrical work: Electrical
connections may only be carried out by a skilled electrician.
The electrical installations at the building site must correspond to the respective
protection provisions.
The mains plug must be disconnected prior to all work on the drive, controller or
transformer.
Prevent electronic components from coming into contact with water,
as this can result in damage involving short circuits.
Prevent external voltage on the transformer and/or the controller, as this may
destroy the electronics.
