HANDHELD TRANSMITTER DOES NOT RESPOND
Error:
The handheld transmitter, the remote control does not work
Troubleshooting:
1. Is this a new handheld transmitter?
If not, this is an existing handheld transmitter, continue to point 2.
If yes, please teach in new handheld transmitter;
see the section ‘CONNECTING THE ROLLO SOLAR RSC WIRELESS MODULE’
2. Are you within the range of the receiver?
If not, move within range of the receiver
If yes, continue to point 2.
3. Does the LED on the handheld transmitter light up red when you press a button?
If not, replace the button cell (battery) of the handheld transmitter
If yes, continue to point 4.
4. Is the transformer mains plug connected?
If not, connect the mains plug
If yes, continue to point 5.
5. Is the mains switch on the transformer switched on?
If not, switch on the mains switch
If yes, continue to point 6.
6. Is the mains switch on the transformer lit up green?
If not, check supply cable to the transformer
If yes, continue to point 7.
7. Is the LED on the transformer lit up green?
If not, continue to point 8.
If yes, continue to point 10.
8. Is the transformer fuse defective? (‘TRANSFORMER AND MOTOR FUSE’ section)
If not, continue to point 9.
If yes, replace the fuse (a spare fuse can be found in the transformer cover);
continue to point 7.
9. Is the LED on the transformer lit up green now?
If not, please contact Rollo Solar
If yes, continue to point 7.
10. Read and make note of error messages on the circuit board, then perform reset
Switch off the transformer mains switch for at least 10 seconds; this will confirm all
errors!
