RS-485 Signal Wiring
2-wire half-duplex RS-485 MODBUS with 8 data bits, 1 stop bit,
and no parity

Standard RS-485 bus terminations required per EIA-485.
Failure Mode Alarm
If self-diagnostics detect a gross transmitter failure, non-latched status bits are set in the
transmitter alarm registers.
