5.1 Process Variables and Process Variable Unit Codes
Floating point values of process variables, and integer unit codes for the corresponding mea-
surement units can be read from the registers shown below. The unit codes are 8 bit integers
that are stored in the Least Significant Byte of their 16 bit register. For instance if the value
$0001 is stored in register 40060 it would represent the unit code 1 (Inches of H
