Introduction
This guide covers the installation, configuration, and use of the Ultritouch with your Ultrix router. The following
chapters are included:
•“Introduction” summarizes the guide and provides important terms, and conventions.
•“Soft Panels for Ultritouch” summarizes the available DashBoard interfaces for configuring and managing soft
panels to be used on the Ultritouch.
•“Getting Started” provides an overview for creating a routing system with Ultritouch, and general information
to keep in mind before installing and configuring your Ultritouch panel.
•“Communication Setup” briefly summarizes how to install a license key, and establish communications
between the Ultritouch and the Ultrix router.
•“Creating a Soft Panel for Ultritouch” provides instructions for using the options in the Panel Editor for an
Ultrix router to create a soft panel that can be loaded to an Ultritouch.
•“Using Soft Panels” provides instructions for loading a soft panel to Ultritouch, and how to perform crosspoint
switches using the loaded soft panel.
•“Using Categories” provides an overview of how to use Cat/Index mode on an Ultrix router via a soft panel on
the Ultritouch.
•“Glossary” provides a list of terms used throughout this guide.
