10.5 Set Output Torque/Thrust (cont'd)
The actuator is now in EDIT Mode and the parameters can be
modified.
Use the UP/DOWN buttons until the correct Torque/Thrust
Value Is displayed.
Press ENTER to save the changes. Visually confirm that the
parameter is saved.
NOTE: The Output Torque or Thrust setting must be
sufficient to operate the valve under full working
process conditions.
Press CANCEL to return to previous menu.
10.6 Select Action at End of Travel
The actuator can be configured to stop on position limit at
the end of travel where valves do not require torque or thrust
to be applied to the valve seat.
To provide tight shut off at end of travel the actuator can
be configured to apply its configured torque or thrust to the
valve seat in either direction.
Use the UP/DOWN buttons until CL ACT is displayed.
Press ENTER to view the Close Action setting.
