18.0 MEMORY: MEMORIZATION FUNCTION
The Memory function will allows to modify an existing Memory Plan or to defi ne
a new one.
18.1 Create a new memory plan:
• Press key MEMORY [11],
• Use the SELECT [10], UP [7] and DOWN [9] keys to choose a new Memory
plan (Ref. fi g. 18.1), the name of the Memory PLan is automatically assign by
the meter with the prefi x “PLAN” followed by the fi rst available plan number
(es.PLAN45),
• Use the SELECT [10] key to choose all the fi elds that will defi ne the transpon-
der to be memorized (Ref. fi g. 18.1): Frequency, Standard, Polarization and
Band, Symbol Rate and Local Oscillator and then set the wanted value using
keys UP [7] and DOWN [9] Keys,
• Use the SELECT [10] key to highlight the SAVE? command and press UP [7]
or DOWN [9] to confi rm the programme storage.
18.2 Modify an existing Memory Plan:
• Press the MEMORY [11] key,
• Use the SELECT [10], UP [7] and DOWN [9] keys to choose an existing Me-
mory Plan (rif. fi g. 18.1) and the programme number that needs to be chan-
ged.
• Use keys SELECT [10] to highlight the transponder fi eld to be changed: Fre-
quency, Standard, Polarization and Band, Symbol Rate and Local Oscillator
and set the new wanted values using keys UP [7] and DOWN [9],
• highlight the command OVERWRITE? to store the updated transponder pro-
gramme position.
18.3 Add a new programme to an existing Mermoy Plan:
• Press the MEMORY [11] key,
• Follow the procedure described in paragraph 18.2 with the only difference that a nee
programme number must be selected (Ref. fi g. 18.1),
• The command line on the bottom part of the menu will be SAVE?, use keys UP [7] or
DOWN [9] to confi rm the new programme number.
