ANSWERING MACHINE
TAM SETTING
(M
ODEL D30V)
This menu enables you to modify the
advanced settings of your answering
machine (depending on the model) You can
access the TAM setting menu through the
Ans. Mach. menu or through the Adv.
Settings submenu of the Settings menu.
Activating and deactivating call
screening
When activated, the call screening function
enables you to listen to the message left by
your caller as it is being recorded. You can
pick up at any time.
On the navigator key , press  or 
until the ANS. MACH menu is displayed,
press OK to confirm.
Select SETTINGS using  or . Press
Valid. .
Select CALL SCREENING using  or .
Press Valid. .
A screen indicating the function status (on
or off) appears.
• To keep the current status, press
Valid. .
• To change the status, press Edit ,
then Valid. .
To exit the menu, press the red key .
Modifying the remote access
code
The remote access code enables you to
listen to the messages left on your answering
machine via another telephone.
On the navigator key , press  or 
until the ANS. MACH menu is displayed,
press OK to confirm.
Select SETTINGS using  or . Press
Valid. .
Select REMOTE CODE. Press Valid. .
Press Yes to modify the remote access
code.
Enter your Base code (default setting
is 0000). Press Valid. .
Enter the new remote access code (4 digits
mandatory). Press Valid. .
To exit the menu, press the red key .
Setting the message duration
This duration corresponds to the recording
time that the caller will have to leave you his
message.
On the navigator key , press  or 
until the ANS. MACH menu is displayed,
press OK to confirm.
Select SETTINGS using  or . Press
Valid. .
