3.3.7 - Tools Menu
This menu provides some tools regarding installation, diagnostics, and maintenance operations.
3.3.7.1 - Tributaries
This menu allows the user to make tributary or multiplexer loopbacks and to configure tributary
interfaces. See section 3.2.4 of this chapter for complete description.
3.3.7.2 - Diagnostic Tools
This menu includes 1+1 tools like static phase adjust, or manual switches for transmitters and
receivers.
In addition, it includes a memo used to store information in the equipment.
When clicking on Diagnostic tools menu, for a 1+0 link, the following screen appears :
Note : For a 1+1 system, Equipment Forcing and Equipment Configuration menu are active.
Equipment Forcing (1+1 only)
This menu allows to control transmit and receive 1+1 switches manually. When clicking on Equipment
Forcing menu, the following windows appears :
