Program Backup & Restore
Program Backup & Restore provides a means to back up the program files in a CSV format and backup
the current image file in the SAM4POS. In version v1.0.86 and later, the ability to scan new program file
on FTP was added.
Note: Restore operations are only available for the System Admin.
.CSV Backup / Image Backup
.CSV BACKUP backs up the configuration programs into files that can be opened and edited in Excel.
IMAGE BACKUP backs up any images that are being used on keys, screens, receipts or screensavers.
1. Touch PROGRAM BACKUP & RESTORE from the SYSTEM menu selection screen. The
Program Backup & Restore screen displays.
2. Select .CSV BACKUP to save the program files in a comma separated format or IMAGE BACKUP
to save the current image file in the terminal.
3. Choose the device you wish to backup to; PATH selections are:

5. Internal Storage
6. Press OK to initiate the backup procedure, a progress bar displays.
7. When the backup is complete, the confirmation message SUCCESS is displayed briefly, then you are
returned to the Program Backup & Restore menu screen.
