CONNECTING TO THE KDBS
There are two methods for connecting devices to keyset daughterboards. The simplest
method is to connect the second device directly by means of a line cord. See Figures 7.15 and
7.16.
The second method is to use a multi-pair station cable, connecting separate station jacks to
the first two pairs. A line cord can now be connected between the daughterboard and the
second jack. This returns the daughterboard port to the MDF for cross-connection to another
cable run (see Figure 7.17).
