Saving part of a video clip (clipping)

Display the video clip you want to edit.

Display the scene you wish to cut.
œ The selected scene will be included in the clipped portion, either as the
last scene or the first.
œ To select the desired scene quickly, you can use a combination of the
fast-forward (or reverse) playback, pause, and image-by-image
playback functions (see page 85).
œ When saving the first part as a video clip, the audio portion of
approximately the last 2 seconds of the saved video clip will not be
recorded. If it appears that the audio will be interrupted, select a cut-off
point slightly after the desired scene.
