suddenly turns
off.
Battery power is
low, activating the
function that
momentarily turns
off the LCD
monitor.

When the flash is
fully charged, the
LCD monitor will
turn on again.

An image is not
captured when
the shutter
release button is
pressed.
The power is not
turned on.
If the power save
function has turned
the digital camera
off, then press the
MODE button,
power button, or
press once on the
shutter release
button to turn the
digital camera back
on.

indicator is flashing
red (the digital
camera is not yet
ready to capture an
image).
Wait until the
standby indicator
lights green to
capture the image.
