The NO
x
sensor must be fitted so that there is no risk of it coming into contact with
water, as it is damaged by moisture. The NO
x
sensor must be slightly inclined so that
condensation can drain from it. Maximum installation angle is 80° relative to the ver-
tical plane. This applies regardless of whether the exhaust pipe is installed horizon-
tally or vertically.

x
sensor installation in a vertical exhaust
pipe.
