L283-029 For 1C\v’’ thick hollow steel doors prepared per ANSI A115.1 1990.
Install two spacers between the spring cage (or knob mounting plate) and lock as chassis shown. Spacers
are required for both the inside and outside escutcheons.
NOTE: L escutcheon designs are not applicable for ANSI A115.1 door preparations.
