Changing Access Levels
The SEL-2020 always reverts to Access Level 0 at power-up, after time-out, and when you issue
the QUIT command at the end of a communication session. To access Level 1, you should type
ACCESS<ENTER> at the “*” prompt and then enter the password. The default password is
OTTER. To enter Access Level 2 from Access Level 1, use the 2ACCESS command and the
Access Level 2 password. The default password is TAIL. If JMP9 B is installed on the
SEL-2020 main board, a password is not required to change access levels. (See Section 3:
Installation for information on installing jumpers.)
