You are now modulating the waveshape of each oscillator differently.
This gives the sound more animation. Try experimenting with different
LFO frequency and amount settings.
Adding Effects to the String Pad
You can enhance the string pad adding an effect such as chorus, anging,
or phasing for a retro feel.
To add effects to the string pad:
1. In the effect section, press the on button.
2. Turn the type knob and choose phaser.
3. Set time to 8 o’clock.
4. Set depth/mix to 12 o’clock.
5. Set feedback/misc to 12 o’clock.
6. Set depth/mix to 12 o’clock
7. Play some chords. Retro string machine! For even more dramatic phas-
ing, set depth/mix and feedback/misc to 3 o’clock.
8. Experiment with changing the effect to the anger or chorus and adjust
their settings to your preference.
Adding Reverb to the String Pad
Adding reverb can also enhance the string sound in a very lush way.
To add Reverb to the string pad:
1. In the reverb section, press the on button.
2. Turn the mix knob to 10 o’clock.
3. Set damping to 2 o’clock.
4. Set predelay to 2 o’clock.
5. Set decay to 3 o’clock.
6. Set tone to 11 o’clock.
7. Play some chords. Experiment with the decay, predelay, and tone
settings to ne tune the reverb sound to your preference.
