Due to the influence of ultraviolet radiation, extreme
temperature, high load and environmental conditions, the tire
will age over time. Please regularly check the tire wear and
replace it if necessary, or take the initiative to ask the
technician whether it is necessary to replace the tire during
each maintenance. The wheel hub and tire installed on the
vehicle shall be matched to adapt to the handling characteristics of
the vehicle. Ideally, all tires should be replaced at the same time.
If this does not work, replace the tires in pairs (two front wheels or
two rear wheels). When replacing the tires, rebalance the tires left
and right and check the wheel alignment.
If a wheel is replaced, the TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system)
sensor needs to be reset to provide an accurate alarm in case of
under inflation or over inflation.
For your safety, only tires and wheels that match the
original specifications can be used. If the tires do not
match the original specifications, the operation of tire
pressure monitoring system (TPMS) may be affected.
Figure: tire side marker
The vehicle tires are asymmetric. The correct sidewall faces
outward. The tire sidewall is marked with the word outside.
When installing a new tire, ensure that the tire is correctly
installed on the wheel.
If the tires are not properly mounted on the
wheels, the driving performance of the vehicle
will be seriously damaged.
In snowy and icy conditions, consider installing
winter tires. The four wheels must use winter tires
with the same specification, brand, structure and
tread. For suggestions on winter tires, please contact
SERES after-sales service center.
On dry roads, the tyre grip of winter tyres may be
less than that of original tyres.
When installing the anti-skid chain, confirm that its size is suitable for the
tire of your vehicle and install it according to the recommendations of
the anti-skid chain manufacturer. When the anti-skid chain manufacturer
has a clear proposal, the chain tensioner can be used to maintain the
installation tightness. The connecting piece at the loose end of the
anti-skid chain must be fixed or removed to prevent damage to the
fender or chassis during shaking. Anti –skid shall be installed on the
drive wheels.
Do not install anti-skid chains on roads without snow or
good roads. Under such road conditions, the installation
of anti-skid chains will cause damage to various
mechanisms of the vehicle due to some stress. F ollow the
instructions provided by the chain manufacturer.
When using anti-skid chains:
● Drive slowly, no more than 48km/h.
● Avoid heavy loads (heavy loads may reduce the
clearance between tires and body).
●
If conditions permit, chains can be removed.
● Observe local regulations when using it.
• If non recommended chains are used or used on
tires of other specifications, parts such as
suspension, body, wheel or brake pipeline may be
damaged. The damage caused by the use of non
recommended chains is not covered by the
warranty.
• Ensure that the anti-skid chain will not touch
the suspension components or brake pipelines.
If you hear abnormal noise from the anti-skid
chain, it indicates that the anti-skid chain
touches the vehicle. Stop immediately for
inspection.
