Braking System
The braking system is composed of a brake pedal and an
electronic parking brake. The brake pedal is used to
decelerate, and the parking brake is used to prevent the
vehicle from rolling. The vehicle is also equipped with an
automatic parking function. When there is a certain slope
on the road, there is no need for you to step on the brake
pedal, the vehicle will automatically remain stopped, and
the electronic parking brake will be automatically
released when the vehicle starts to assist you in starting
the vehicle smoothly.
Warn
Normal operation of the brake system is essential to ensure
safety. If you encounter problems with the brake pedal, brake
caliper or any component of the vehicle's brake system,
please contact the SERES service center.
When the vehicle is started for the first time, the
ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) indicator on the meter
will flash briefly. If this indicator lights up at any other
time, it means that ABS has failed and ABS cannot work.
Please contact SERES service center immediately.
Except for a brief display at the first startup, if
this indicator is displayed on the meter at any other
time, it indicates that the intelligent booster, brake
system failure or low brake fluid level has been
detected. Please contact SERES service center
immediately.
Except for a short display at the first start-up,
if this indicator is displayed on the meter at any other
time, it means that the intelligent booster is detected
to be faulty. Please contact the SERES service center
immediately.
In an emergency, fully depress the brake pedal and maintain a
stable pressure, even on low-traction roads, ABS changes the
brake pressure applied to each wheel according to the amount
of traction available, which can prevent the wheels from
locking up , And make sure that the vehicle stops as safely as
possible.
Warn
Do not release the brake pedal immediately after stepping
on it, as this will interrupt the ABS working process and
increase the braking distance.
• Always maintain a safe distance from the vehicle ahead and
grasp the dangerous situation during driving. Although
ABS can improve the braking distance, it cannot exceed
the laws of physics, nor can it prevent the dangers caused
by tire skidding (especially on rainy and snowy roads).
Vehicle brake pads are equipped with wear indicators.
The wear indicator is a thin metal plate connected to the
brake pads. When the brake pads are worn to the limit, it
will rub against the brake disc and make a sharp friction
sound. If you encounter this In this case, please go to
Chongqing Jinkang New Energy Service Center for
maintenance.
The tires and wheels must be regularly removed for visual
inspection of the brakes, regarding the detailed
specifications and usage restrictions of the brake discs and
brake pads
Warn
• Failure to replace worn brake pads will damage the brake
system and may result in a dangerous braking situation.
• Please check the degree of wear of the brake discs and
brake pads every time the vehicle is maintained, and replace
them if necessary according to the recommendations of the
maintenance personnel.
