Front hood
Picture: Front hood opening handle
Pull the opening handle at the lower part of the dashboard on
the driver's side twice in a row, and the front hatch will
automatically unlock and pop up to a certain height. You can
manually lift the front hatch.
Warning
Before opening or closing the front hatch, it is important
to check that there are no obstacles (personnel and
objects) around the front hatch, otherwise damage or
serious injury may result.
Note
Generally, after pulling the hood over the balance point,
the hood can rise to the top by itself, but at low
temperatures (-30 ~0 ), you need to push the hood
until it is fully opened. At this time, the hood can be kept
near the maximum opening position (5 Within °) does not
fall.
Picture: The front hood pressing position
The front hatch of the vehicle cannot be locked by its own weight, and
pressure on the front edge or center of the vehicle will damage the front
hatch.
Close the front hatch properly:
1. Lower the front hatch completely until it touches the latch.
2. Place your hands in the area in front of the front cover as shown in
the figure, and press down firmly with both hands to engage the
front cover latch.
3. Gently lift the front edge of the front hatch and check to make sure
it is completely closed.
Dangerous
Do not drive the vehicle when the front hatch is only secured
by the spare latch.
Warning
Prevent damage:
Do not close the front hatch with one hand, as this will
concentrate the force in one area, which may cause dents or
bends.
Do not press on the front edge of the front hatch,
otherwise the edge may bend.
Do not close the front hatch forcibly or let it fall freely.
