Lane Departure Warning (LDW) system uses the
multi-function camera sensor on the front
windshield to identify the lane. When vehicle
deviates from the lane, the system will give an
alarm and the lane will be marked on the
dashboard to reduce accidents. When driver
changes lanes, no warning message can be issued.
LDW does not operate normally under all driving
conditions, weather conditions, traffic conditions or
road conditions
LDW cant be used in the following situations:
● Indicator lights are on
● ESC intervenes or is off
● Excessive braking force exists.
●
Speed< 60km / h
● Lane lines are blocked, unclear or missing.
● The camera is very dirty, heavily iced or covered
(for example, covered by glue).
● Encountered severe weather conditions (such as heavy
rain, sunset, etc.).
During the entire driving process (for example,
when driving in the same lane), even if the
LDW is activated, the driver still bears the
driving responsibility, and cannot rely on the
system to pay attention to all situations.
• Driving carefully
• Always pay attention to nearby traffic and
road situation
• Adjust speed based on traffic condition
The camera's view may be affected by many
factors (such as rain, snow, freezing, a lot of
water and fog, and oncoming lights).
Sometimes, the camera may not be able to
detect lanes or detect correct detection.
• Driving very carefully
• Always pay attention to direction and lane
• Do not use objects (such as stickers) to
cover camera inside rearview mirror
•
The camera must be kept free of dirt, ice and
snow to ensure its normal operation.
