Headlight Multibeam Assistance (HMA) is a
headlight control function that uses the camera on the
upper edge of the front windshield to detect the taillights
of the vehicle ahead, headlights of oncoming vehicles
and the street lights. It will automatically turn on/off the
high beams. When the driving road is dark and there are
no vehicles or street lights, it automatically turns on the
high beam headlights, otherwise it switches to low beam
headlights.
Headlight Multibeam Assistance (HMA) is only a
driving assistance system and cannot be applied
to all driving situations. The driver must always
maintain control of the vehicle and be fully
responsible for the vehicle.
