Predictive emergency braking system
The Predictive emergency braking system (PEBS)
can provide the driver with early warning, early
brake preparation, auxiliary brake and other
assistance in emergency. When system detects
potential collision risk between the vehicles,
pedestrians or other objects in front, an audible and
visual alarm will be issued to provide driver with
sufficient reaction time. If situation deteriorates, short
brake or even AEB will be applied based on the
degree of urgency, to assist the driver in avoiding
collisions or reducing injuries.
Warning
No automatic system can guarantee 100% normal
operation under any circumstances. Therefore, do not
drive towards people or objects to test PEBS.
Otherwise, serious personal injury or death may be
caused.
PEBS system is an auxiliary function for driver, who is
always responsible for safety driving.
PEBS system cannot be used normally under all
driving conditions, traffic conditions, weather
conditions or road conditions
FCW
In case of emergency, it provides driver with pre-alarm
and emergency alarm. Meanwhile, it pre-fills brake
system and adjusts the hydraulic auxiliary brake
threshold, to provide brake assistance for driver when
braking.
Safe distance alarm: During driving, if vehicle follows
the front one for a long time, system will issue safe
distance alarm, and dashboard will display an alarm
image to remind driver distance between vehicles is
too close.
Pre-collision alarm: During driving, if there is a
risk of collision between vehicles, the system will
pre-alarm visually and audibly. The dashboard
displays the alarm image, and the speaker alarms at
the same time. The driver needs to take appropriate
actions in time, to ensure a safe driving distance.
Emergency alarm: If driver does not take actions in
time after pre-alarm, and the risk of collision is
aggravated, system will pre-alarm visually and
audibly, and dashboard displays the alarm and image.
At the same time, the buzzer continuously alarms.
Driver need take actions to ensure safe driving
distance.
Warning
PEBS system can warn you of a potential collision,
but cannot shorten reaction time.
PEBS system can never replace the driver's
attention to traffic conditions or the driver's
responsibility for safety driving
EBA
EBA will prepare brake system in advance and warm the
driver that a collision may occur. It provides driver more
time for braking to alleviate the dangerous situation. The
brake system is prepared in advance to decelerate faster
or even stronger in some cases. If driver takes actions, but
braking force is insufficient, the braking system will
provide the remaining force to achieve the best braking to
avoid collision.
AEB
Partial AEB (standard): It is automatic partial braking,
which is triggered earlier (at the same time as the
emergency alarm). The main function is to give
driver more reaction time. If driver does not respond,
it will also reduce the risk of accidents.
Partial AEB (enhanced): If driver does not respond to
the standard partial AEB, or the situation is already
very urgent, the system will activate braking with
higher deceleration to avoid accident or reduce harm.
Medium-speed AEB: it will be activated at medium
speeds. When system calculates that a large and
uncomfortable deceleration can avoid collision, it
will automatically trigger brake as much as possible
to reduce the relative speed with the obstacle.
