RCTA
RCTA system monitors the rear area inside the radar
coverage area. During the process, if a vehicle
approaches from the rear side, it uses sound and
images to alert the driver to avoid collisions.
After the vehicle is powered on, the Rear Cross
Traffic Alert (RCTA) function is enabled by default,
and the user cannot disable it.
When Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA))is working,
If it detects that there is a target vehicle behind the
vehicle, and the alarm conditions are met, the
speaker in the vehicle will initiate a voice alarm with
orientation.
The system does not exempt the personal
responsibility of correctly judging the visual
field and traffic conditions. These functions
may not bring the expected results due to
many other reasons. The driver is responsible
for staying alert and paying attention to the
surrounding area of the vehicle in order to
predict whether measures need to be taken as
soon as possible. avoid collision.
The system cannot always detect vehicles,
bicycles, and pedestrians. A variety of reasons may
cause unnecessary, inaccurate or ineffective
warnings or omissions, especially in the following
situations:
• The road turns sharply.
•
Poor visibility (due to heavy rain, snow, fog, etc.)
• The radar sensor is blocked (due to dirty or
covered, etc.)
