Airbag
Airbag is a passive auxiliary protection system, usually
used in conjunction with seat belts to provide
additional protection for the head and chest of the
occupants.
The main parts of the airbag system are:
Electronic monitoring system (airbag
control module and sensors).
Two frontal airbags.
Two front seat side airbags.
Two curtain airbags.
Seat belt pretensioner.
The airbag system will only operate when the
vehicle is started.
The inflation of the airbag depends on the
acceleration of the car at the time of the collision
(triggered when the speed change is greater than
8km/h within 150ms, and locked when the speed
change greater than 25km/h within 150ms). Based
on the acceleration, determine whether the airbag
will inflate.
The airbag inflates violently in an instant,
accompanied by a loud noise. The inflated airbag
and seat belt restrict the activities of the driver and
passengers, thus reducing the risk of injury.
If you plan to modify the vehicle for the disabled, it
will affect the airbag system of the vehicle. For
details, please contact the SERES center.
When the airbag inflates, a fine powder is released.
This powder may irritate the skin. Eyes and cuts or
abrasions should be rinsed thoroughly.
After the airbag is inflated, it will bring a gradual
shock absorption effect to the driver and passengers.
Please make sure that the driver's front vision is not
blocked.
If the airbag has been inflated, or the vehicle has
experienced an accident, the airbag, seat belt
pretensioner and any related components need to be
checked. If necessary, the SERES Center will replace
it.
In the event of a collision, in addition to the inflation of
the airbag, the following safety measures are also
implemented:
The door is unlocked and the door handle pops
out.
The hazard warning light turns on.
High voltage is disabled.
Make an emergency call.
Oil cut of range extender (extended range version).
