If the airbag system fails, the airbag indicator on
the instrument cluster will be on for a short time
only when the vehicle is started for the first time.
This is the only time. In this case, the indicator light
will be on for a few seconds. If it still lights up,
please contact SERES Center immediately. Do not
drive.
• Regardless of whether the seating position is
equipped with airbags, all drivers in the car, including
the driver himself, should always wear seat belts. In
the event of a collision, the risk of serious injury or
death can be minimized.
• Airbag inflation has considerable speed and
strength, which may cause personal injury. To limit
the injury, ensure that all drivers and passengers in
the vehicle wear seat belts, and the seat position is as
far back as possible.
• Passengers are not allowed to lean their heads on
the door, otherwise, if the curtain airbag inflates, it
may cause injury.
• Do not allow passengers to put their feet, knees or
any other part of the body on or near the airbag, so as
not to hinder the normal operation of the airbag and
cause injury to the passengers.
•
After inflation, some airbag components will heat up,
please do not touch them until they cool down.
The frontal airbag protects the
head and chest of the
driver/co-pilot and avoids
direct impact from the steering
wheel/instrument panel. The
frontal airbag will inflate only
in the event of a serious frontal
collision.
Side airbags protect the
chest and pelvis of the
human torso. Only when a
serious side collision
occurs, the side airbags will
inflate, and the side airbags
on the non-collision side
will not inflate.
Curtain airbags help protect
the head. In the event of a
serious side collision, the
airbag will inflate, and the
curtain airbag on the
non-collision side will not
inflate.
If the airbag deploys:
• The airbag system can only provide a one-time
accident protection function. If the airbag has been
triggered, the airbag system components must be
replaced.
•
After the airbag is deployed, please do not drive the
vehicle. Please immediately contact the SERES Center
to replace the vehicle safety system components.
• After any vehicle collision, the SERES Center should
check whether the airbag and the installation area are
damaged.
• Do not touch the interior parts around the airbag
storage area (steering wheel, instrument panel, and roof
rails), because these parts are very hot and may cause
personal injury if touched.
