Traffic Jam (TJA) / Integrated Cruise (ICA) mainly
provide the driver with longitudinal and lateral
assistance of the vehicle, which can reduce the
workload of the driver and provide safety and comfort
in a monotonous driving environment or traffic jam.
Lateral assist: In TJA speed range (0 ~ 60km/h), provide a
lateral assist solution for the vehicle. If the lane line exists,
the vehicle is maintained in the lane, otherwise the vehicle
will follow the moving trajectory of the preceding vehicle.
In the ICA speed range (above 60km/h), the vehicle will
be maintained at the center of the lane.
Longitudinal assistance: Relying on the ACC system
to drive the vehicle at a fixed speed or at a fixed time
interval with the road user ahead.
During the process to active the Traffic Jam (TJA)
/ Integrated Cruise (ICA), system will start
warming for 10s if it is detected that driver does not
hold the steering wheel. During warming, driver
should swing steeling wheel tightly to reactive the
function, otherwise it will fail to active and driver
need restart the vehicle.
When TJA is on, the steering wheel may swing
suddenly and greatly during use, due to the
camera recognition problem. Driver should
always keep the steering wheel in his hand, at
least one hand
