Cutline: Can set different follow-up time intervals for
ACC
ACC Distance Level Configuration
HEADWAY Move the cruise handle to
"HEADWAY". Each time you move it, you can
switch the distance between vehicles. The greater
the distance level, the greater the time interval
between following vehicles. From the dashboard,
different bars represent different vehicle distance
levels. The larger the bar, the greater the distance
between vehicles.
ACC
When the following operations are performed, the
cruise control will be automatically cancelled and the
system enters the cruise on (standby state):
step on brake panel
turn ACC toCANCEL”
switch to other gears other than F
ACC
After canceling the cruise (the cruise system is not
turned off), when the vehicle meets the required
speed, gear and other conditions for cruise, dial the
cruise control handle up, to resume the previously set
speed and continue cruising.
Attention
ACC is not a safety system, obstruction
detector or collision warning system, but a
comfort system. The driver must always
maintain control of the vehicle and be fully
responsible for the vehicle.
The ACC function can assist the driver, instead
of replacing the driver. Even if ACC is active,
the driver must drive carefully and obey the
traffic rules.
The driver must adjust the following distance
based on the traffic volume in front of the
vehicle and the current weather conditions, such
as rainy and foggy days, etc., and set the ACC
system reasonably. After the ACC system is
properly set, the driver needs to ensure that the
vehicle can be made decelerate to stop any any
time.
ACC is suitable for use on highways and
roads with good road conditions, but not
suitable for use on complex urban roads or
mountain roads.
It is the driver's responsibility to keep the
distance between the vehicle and the vehicle in
front. The follow-up time interval of the ACC
system meets the minimum vehicle-to-vehicle
distance requirement in the China's driving
environment.
When ACC is working, if the driver steps on
the accelerator pedal, the vehicle will be taken
over by the driver, and the ACC system's
distance control function will not be activated.
For stationary objects, such as vehicles, the
end of traffic flow, toll stations, bicycles or
pedestrians, ACC can only respond to special
situations. These special situations are highly
specific.
