3.5 Nominal operating conditions
The VMS4200/5200 multi-dimensional measurement system can determine the length,
width, and height of the smallest rectangular box that fully encloses cubic and irregularly
shaped measuring objects. The VMS5200 is certified to the Measuring Instruments
Directive specified in section 9.3 Compliance with EU directives.
The different nominal operating conditions according to the different nominal operating
conditions depending on the object size are described below.
3.5.1 Fixed scale values
If the plant is operated without scale value switchover, the measuring range and the scale
interval value are fixed throughout the entire system depending on the application, and
are therefore the same for all measured objects.
