SUPPLEMENTARY OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS | VMS4200/5200
• The card slot is sealed to prevent removal of the alibi memory card.
• The calibration switch is sealed to prevent it from being misaligned.
The legally relevant data lines are protected against disconnection by a manipulation
guard (Ethernet connections X13 and X14 in this example).
NOTE! The X11 and X12 Ethernet connections and/or fieldbus connections can be
considered legally relevant. In this case, an appropriately modified manipulation guard
is applied.

The connections of legally relevant sensors and I/Os of the SIM2000-2 Prime controller
are secured by covering the relevant plug connectors with a manipulation guard.
