4 Mounting
Mount the sensorusing a suitable mounting bracket (see the SICK range of accesso‐
ries).
NOTE
Note the sensor’s maximum permissible tightening torque of < 0,4Nm.
Mounting with the background suppression principle of operation
Note the preferred alignment of the sensor relative to the movement direction of the
object, see figure 2.

Note the preferred direction of the object relative to the sensor, cf. see figure 11,

NOTE
For the WTB4ST with linear light spot, there is no preferred direction that must be
observed.
