The GENIUS 2.2. detects whether the door is open or shut via the magnec sensor.
The magnec sensor is triggered by the opposite magnets on the frame side.
Never allow the magnet to come into direct contact with the faceplate. This would magnese
the faceplate and the drive rods behind it. This will cause malfuncons in the magnec sen-
sor. For dimension [F], see chapter 3.1.

According to the delivered ver-
sion, the locking rail is predrilled
(Ø 13 mm), or marked at the
relevant point, or has a fastening
hole at this point that must be
drilled to Ø 13 mm.
According to the prole of the locking
rail and prole of the frame, a milling
must be set for the magnet in the
frame.

A single striker plate from series
23xx (without backing) must be
used.
According to the prole of the striker
plate and the frame, milling must
be carried out for the magnet in the

As holes must not be drilled
through the secondary sash lock
bolt because of the drive rods
located behind, the self-adhe-
sive magnet must be used.
