GENIUS 2.2, Electromechanical mul-point lock

In order to check the funconality, the door and the door
frame must be posioned vercally.
Adhere to the screw torque specied by the producer
Check whether the prole cylinder complies with the specica-
on in chapter 2.2.
 
Switch the GENIUS 2.2 mul-point lock to day mode (see operang instrucons).
  
Close the door The door must engage into the frame. The door must be adjusted if the frame parts and
elements of the mul-point lock grind against
each other.
Door closed The latch must keep the door securely closed. The door must be adjusted if it opens again.
Get in touch with your contractual partner.
Lock the door with the key:
Open door
All locking elements must move freely.
All locking elements must extend and retract
freely in the frame parts when the door is
closed.
When the key is removed and the door is
locked, the child-proof lock must be acve and
the lever handle blocked.
Acvate the lever handle.
All locking elements and the latch must move
freely.
The lever handle must return to its original
posion by itself.
The latch must extend completely again aer
the lever handle is released.
If the locking elements move sluggishly, this can
be due to various causes:
Side adjustment of the frame parts:
the sealing of the door leaf is inuenced by
distoron of the frame parts. If this is excessive,
it can lead to sluggishness.
Adjustment of frame parts and AT piece
(see page 33 and 35)
Insucient lubricaon (see page 38)
The GENIUS 2.2 mul-point lock must be serviced
if the sluggishness remains.
Get in touch with your contractual partner in all
aforemenoned cases.
 
Switch the GENIUS 2.2 mul-point lock to night mode (see operang instrucons).
  
Close the door: the GENIUS 2.2 mul-point lock
will move to the locking posion.
All locking elements must lock freely. If the locking elements move sluggishly or the
locking process results in a block move (the GENI-
US motor moves to the "unlocked" posion with
excessive resistance and a signal sounds), this can
be due to various causes:
Side adjustment of the frame parts:
the sealing of the door leaf is inuenced by
distoron of the frame parts. If this is excessive,
it can lead to sluggishness: adjust frame parts
and AT piece
(see page 33 and 35)
Insucient lubricaon:
(see page 38) The GENIUS 2.2 mul-point lock
must be serviced if the sluggishness remains.

Open door:
acvate lever handle from the inside
Unlock the door with the key
All locking elements must unlock smoothly and
completely. The latch must be able to retract com-
pletely and with ease. The door must open easily
