The triggers described previously for values that have been recorded using
variable monitors are based on the action of initiating variable monitors.
The variable monitors are programmed separately from the control monitor, as
individual modular configurations. For the control monitor actions, all available
variable monitors are provided for the purpose of initiation via individual triggers.
Any trigger that can be selected individually can be used for this purpose.
Note
There is the option of using a direct link between the variable monitor and this
control monitor configuration in order to enable rational configuration.

Availability and privileges
Variable monitors can only be configured at the PC. The authorization required for
configuring variable monitors is described in detail in the Appendix.
