Test mode on: The binary-signal transmitter performs a self-test. With an active binary input
(voltage applied), the LED BI-1 or BI-2 lights and the corresponding relay K1 or
K2 with its corresponding LED is activated. The diagnostics of the memory test
and the position of the DIP switches are output on the serial RS232 interface.
Test mode off: The binary-signal transmitter is ready for operation.
Disable signal outputs: The relays are not activated.
Enable signal outputs: Normal operation, signal outputs are provided.
Transmitter only: The binary-signal transmitter acts only as a transmitter. Missing receive signals
are not reported as errors.
NOTE
Setting the baud rates during operation
Set the baud rate using the switches DIP S2-1 to DIP S2-3. After this, toggle the switch DIP S2-6 (test mode)
shortly on and off again. The setting is adopted by the device.
