The Hettich unit buckets are numbered 1 through 4. The buckets rotate to
the Hatch for loading and unloading cassettes.

The system performs the following process cycle:
• The system loads samples that require centrifugation into the
cassettes.
• The robot uses the scale, Figure 8, Weigh Pan and Scale , to weigh the
cassettes.
• The robot removes the cassettes from the scale and loads the cassettes
into the Hettich unit.
• The Hettich unit centrifuges the samples.
• At the end of the Centrifuge cycle, the robot unloads spun cassettes
and loads unspun cassettes.
• The robot moves the sample tubes from the cassettes back onto the
track.
