9. Move the robot so it is above the Hettich unit.
10. Close the robot-enclosure door.
11. Pull out the E-stop button.
12. Bring the Centrifuge module online.
Cleaning the Scale
To clean the scale, perform these steps:
1. At the LineMaster workspace, ensure the Centrifuge module is in the
shutdown state and no sample tubes remain in the Centrifuge module.
2. At the Centrifuge module, push in the E-stop button.
3. Access the scale:
a. Open the robot enclosure door.
b. Move the robot away from the scale.
c. Remove cassettes from the scale.
d. Inspect the scale for debris and damage.
4. Clean the scale:
a. Dampen a cleaning cloth with 70% isopropyl alcohol and wipe the
scale.
You can use an alcohol prep pad instead of the damp cloth.
b. Wait for the scale to dry.
BIOHAZARD
Wear personal protective equipment. Use universal precautions. Refer to
Appendix A, Safety Information for recommended precautions when
working with biohazardous materials.

Isopropyl alcohol (70%)
Water
WARNING
Do not remove the cassettes from the scale when the robot gripper is
positioned over the scale. Removing the cassettes without sufficient
clearance above the scale can result in personal injury. Always move the
robot gripper away from the scale before removing cassettes.
