To assign a sample tube containing a specific sample type to be
centrifuged before it proceeds to other tests, perform the following steps:
1. On the LineMaster workspace, select System > Pre and Post Tests
(Shift F5).
2. Select the By Sample Type tab.
3. On the Sample Type area ID column on the right, select the sample
type that requires the sample to be Centrifuged prior to testing.
4. At the Pre and Post Test area on the left, at the column entitled
Selected, select the appropriate pre-test check box.
5. To verify that Sample Types are added, select the Usage tab.
The information you selected is listed in the Usage tab.
By Location Tab
The By Location Type tab of the Pre and Post Tests (Shift F5) screen
assigns sample tubes to a particular location. For more information about
the By Location tab, see the ADVIA Automation Solution Operator’s Guide.
Note For this option, the LIS order must specify the location.
