Emergency Shutdown Procedure
Note If you only need to stop the robot, push in the E-stop button. The
Hettich unit continues operations. If you need to turn off the Centrifuge
module but it is not an emergency situation, see Turning the Centrifuge
Module Off ‚ page 40.
Depending on how long it takes to restore power to the Centrifuge, you
may not be able to use the sample tubes that are left on the system at
shutdown.
1. Push in the E-stop button.

2. Open the access door and turn off the UPS module.
