c. Dampen a cleaning cloth with water and wipe the scale.
5. Dry the scale with a clean soft cloth.
Always use a fresh dry cloth to ensure there is no dampness on the
scale.
6. Place cassettes on the scale.
7. Move the robot so it is above the Hettich unit.
8. Close the robot-enclosure door.
9. Pull out the E-stop button.
10. Bring the Centrifuge module online.
Cleaning the Cassettes
To clean the cassettes, perform these steps:
1. At the LineMaster workspace, ensure the Centrifuge module is in the
shutdown state and no sample tubes remain in the Centrifuge module
2. At the Centrifuge module, push in the E-stop button.
CAUTION
Do not use any cleaning product or drying cloth that can leave a reflective
residue on the scale. Any reflective areas on the scale, whether from
dampness or improper cleaning, can result in system malfunction.
Always follow the cleaning procedures as written.
BIOHAZARD
Wear personal protective equipment. Use universal precautions. Refer to
Appendix A, Safety Information for recommended precautions when
working with biohazardous materials.
