3. Access the cassettes:
a. Open the robot enclosure door.
b. Remove the cassettes from the Centrifuge module.
See Accessing the Hettich Unit, page 56. You should have 10
cassettes.
4. Clean the cassettes:
a. Remove any debris and inspect the cassettes for damage.

b. Ensure no tabs are broken.
c. Dampen a cleaning cloth with 70% isopropyl alcohol and wipe the
cassette.
You can use an alcohol prep pad instead of the damp cloth.
WARNING
Do not remove the cassettes from the scale when the robot gripper is
positioned over the scale. Removing the cassettes without sufficient
clearance above the scale can result in personal injury. Always move the
robot gripper away from the scale before removing cassettes.
1. Tube tabs
CAUTION
Do not use any cleaning product or drying cloth that can leave a reflective
residue on the scale. Any reflective areas on the scale, whether from
dampness or improper cleaning, can result in system malfunction.
Always follow the cleaning procedures as written.
