The Centrifuge module Settings screen includes the following areas,
fields, and buttons:

This area includes the following fields:
• Target RPMs (revolutions per minute) specifies
the rotational speed of the Hettich unit.
• Target RCF (relative centrifugal force) specifies
the centrifugal force of the Hettich unit.
Entering a value in the Target RPMs or Target RCF
fields causes the other field to automatically update
to the corresponding value.
Enter a Spin Time This area includes the following fields:
• Spin Time (sec) Controls the time in seconds
spent at the rotational speed. The default value
is 595 seconds (9 minutes, 55 seconds); you can
enter a value here to modify the spin time.
• Acceleration (sec) The system calculates this
value from the Target RPM or Target RCF
fields. You cannot modify this field.
• Deceleration (sec) The system calculates this
value from the Target RPM or Target RCF
fields. You cannot modify this field.
• Cycle Time (sec) The sum of the Spin Time,
Acceleration, and Deceleration values. The
default is 722 seconds (12 minutes, 2 seconds).
You cannot modify this field.
Hettich Loading
Timers
This area includes the following fields:
• Load Delay (sec) Specifies the time in seconds
that the robot waits between the arrival of a
sample tube in the Centrifuge module and
placing the cassette containing that sample
tube into the Hettich unit.
• Tube Arrival (sec) Specifies the maximum
amount of time between consecutive sample
tubes arriving at the interface gate before
loading cassettes into the Hettich unit.
