4. Turn the gripper release switch.
This opens the gripper and the sample tube releases.

5. Turn the gripper release switch for approximately 10 seconds to lock
the gripper into the open position.
6. Inspect the gripper for debris or damage.
Clean the gripper if required, see Cleaning the Robot Gripper, page 47.
7. Close the robot access door.
8. Pull out the E-stop button.
9. Bring the Centrifuge module online.
