5.2 Applying supply voltage
The measuring device can be supplied with:
● a wide-voltage AC/DC power supply unit
● an extra-low voltage DC power supply unit
A supply voltage is required to operate the device. Please consult the technical data or the
rating plate for the type and level of the possible supply voltage.
The wrong system connection can destroy the device.
Failure to heed this warning can result in damage to the device and the system. The
minimum and maximum limits given in the technical data and on the rating plate must not
be exceeded even during startup or testing of the device.
Observe the correct polarity when connecting DC supply voltage.
5.3 Parameterizing the device
To start up the device, you must specify the operating parameters listed below in the device
settings:
● Basic parameters
The following settings are also useful:
● Language
● Date/time
● Device protection against manipulation
Initial startup
The language selection only appears:
● During initial startup
● After a reset to factory settings
● After a firmware update
Select the required language and confirm your selection by choosing "OK".
