Recommendation for the selection of blocks
If the Ident blocks cover your functional requirements, use these. The Ident blocks are easier
to program and the parameters can be assigned usually without further documentation. The
program is easier to read and programming requires less effort.
The Ident profile is a complex block. We recommend that the Ident profile should only be
used by trained users or when there are special requirements.
