11.6.1 Creating an image
Data backup under Windows Embedded Standard 2009 / Windows XP Professional
To back up data under Windows Embedded Standard 2009 / Windows XP Professional, we
recommend the software tool SIMATIC PC/PG Image Creator (as of V3.0). This tool
provides comfortable and efficient functions for backup and restoring the full content of
Compact Flash cards, of HDDs and of individual partitions (images.)
The Image Creator only supports the burning of DVD media.
