Attaching PROFINET strain relief
The strain relief for PROFINET connectors prevents unintentional disconnection of the
connectors from the device. The strain relief and the fasteners required for it are included in
the product package.
Requirement
● The device is installed
● 1 strain relief
● 2 screws
● Cable ties
● 1 T10 screwdriver
Procedure
Attaching the strain relief is described using the example of the 12" display. The procedure is
the same for all device variants.
Attaching
1.
Screw on the strain relief with a screw at
the
marked positions.
In the figure, one screw is hidden by the
strain relief.
2.
Clip on the connector.
3.
Secure each connector with a cable tie.
Remove
Perform the steps for attaching the strain relief in reverse order.
