• Initial state of receive line: none, R(A)5V/R(B)0V, R(A)0V/R(B)5V

• Number of buered message frames: 1 to 10, use entire buer
• Disable overwrite: yes/no
• Indicator for end of receive message frame:
– After character delay time expires
– On receipt of end-of-text character(s)
– On receipt of a xed number of characters
