The removable tray makes for quick and
simple replacement of a 2.5" or 3.5" drive
without having to open the device or re-
move it from the control cabinet. The re-
sult is the following advantages for service
and maintenance, data backup and data
transfer:
• Replacement of a failed hard disk in
operation ("hot-swap")
• Downloading different system states or
operating systems from different hard
drives during a short period of time.
• Simplified data backup by copying, for
example, to a backup hard drive.
• Simple transportation of backup data
• Separate data storage and archiving
